Whole-person healing
Healing is rarely about the symptom.
I'm a speech-language pathologist, founder of Advanced Therapy & Wellness Center, and author of Don't Settle for Normal. I work at the intersection of airway, feeding, myofunctional therapy, and whole-person care.
The book
Common does not mean normal.
The snoring you were told is cute. The exhaustion you've learned to live with. The patient who keeps coming back no matter how many specialists they've seen. Don't Settle for Normal is for the parent who is done being dismissed, the adult who refuses to accept feeling this way forever, and the practitioner in any field who is ready to chase root causes instead of managing symptoms. I wrote it as all three: clinician, mother, and patient.

Start tonight, for free
Wondering whether airway is part of your story?
Watch your child sleep. Write down what you notice. Then take the free Airway Score to see whether airway should be on your list of questions, for your child or for yourself.
The work
A whole-person approach to clinical care.
Airway & Breathing
Recognizing the breath as the foundation of feeding, sleep, focus, and development.
Feeding & Swallowing
Helping infants, children, and adults rebuild safe, joyful relationships with food.
Myofunctional Therapy
Restoring oral function so the body can rest, breathe, and heal as designed.
Whole-Person Care
Looking past symptoms to the patterns, environments, and root causes beneath them.
At the heart of it all
My husband, my boys, and the life that grounds this work.
Everything I write, build, and study is shaped by the family quietly making it possible. This story started with one of my own sons. It's why I will not settle, and why I won't let you settle either.

Belief
“Healing is not just about treating symptoms. It is about understanding the whole person — their story, their environment, and the deeper root causes that affect their well-being.”
